Ingredients2 litres fresh milk1 cup vermicelli2 tbsp ghee or oil1/2 tsp cardamom powder6 soft dates, slicedpistachio crushedalmonds crushed1 cup sugarMethodBoil fresh milk (do not use tetra pack milk for this recipe)and turn the heat low.Leave it at low flame till changes its colour and reduce 45%Heat ghee in a frying pan and fry vermicelli on low heat till it turns light brown in colour.Then add nuts and fry for a second.Then add it in boiled milk with sliced dates ,cardamom powder and sugar .cook for 10 minutes at low flame till milk start thickens.Take out in a bowl and let it cool. Garnish with nuts and keep it in refrigerator till serving.

Sugar 1 cupKhoya 250 gmSliced Almonds and pistachios for garnishingCardamoms (grounded) 1 tspMethodTrim the bread crusts from the bread.Cut bread slices in half.Shallow fry bread till golden brown.Cook milk,cardamom ,food colour and sugar on low heat till your have a thick sauce mixture.Take a serving dish arrange bread slices.Cover the bread with khoya.Pour hot thick milk sugar mixture on top of bread slices.Cover and let the bread soak in the moisture.Sprinkle the nuts on top.keep refrigerated when cool.
